I reminded of one of my favorite childhood holidays, Halloween. I remember the excitement of sprinting through the neighborhood, pretending the homemade costume my mother constructed actually made me truly resemble superman’s physique. The only obstacle between me and two pillowcases full of sugar was a carefully executed route. Yet whoever designed that plastic superhero mask, with pinholes for eyes, clearly didn’t share in my candy amassing ambitions.
